I have a trigger set for:

MODE: SSB, FT8
State: MT, VT
Park Division: \*

The problem is, I keep getting App notifications (Android app) for stations in State: MI, US

Anything I have done wrong? I’ve powered off/on the device in case there was some residual trigger, and deleted and re-added the trigger.

Could you post an example (screenshot of an erroneous alert with spot details) please?

Hope this works… Mobile at the moment.

This sends me an alert when I do not have MI listed on the trigger. I can’t figure out why.

OK…I think I _may_ know what is happening…the activator that HamAlert is triggering on may be at a park which is primarily in one state (and which shows in the alert), but is (for example US-0070) also listed in other states. US-0070 when referenced shows: US-ID, US-MT, US-WY

Does that make sense?

Yes, that is likely what’s happening. For POTA spots in parks that span multiple states, HamAlert has no way of knowing which state the activator is actually in.

I hate US-4239 for this very reason. I get the exact same right down to the same activator. Only I need ND. What gets me it says right there MI,US right there in the alert why can’t they use that as a field for the trigger?
