I am pleased to announce that, with assistance from Manuel (HB9DQM) and Chris (2E0FRU), HamAlert now supports triggers from D-STAR!

You can now get alerts when a callsign is heard on a D-STAR repeater, hotspot, reflector or QuadNet smart group. Create a trigger with mode D-STAR and filter by callsign, event (active or linked), node, reflector (e.g. REF030) or Smart Group (e.g. DSTAR1).

Data comes from QuadNet, ircDDB and [dstarusers.org](http://dstarusers.org/). If a station is heard on a repeater linked to a REF reflector, the alert says so. You get one alert per callsign and place every 15 minutes, and only voice and link commands count. Japan D-STAR is a different animal, so that is not supported (yet…? 🙂 )

The thresholds are new, so please let me know in this thread if alerts come too often or not often enough.

Jonathan N4EDO
