Would you consider distributing this software via F\*Droid? Virtually none of my FOSS centric friends have Google or Apple accounts (myself included). I tried downloading the APK file directly from various websites, but Cloudflare gets in the way in most cases, and Cloudflare doesn’t work with the DuckDuckGo browser. I really, really want to run HamAlert on my Android phone.

Thanks and 73,

Hi Andy,

I’m similarly inclined. Big time.

I use Aurora Store, found separately or at F-Droid, to access the Big G repo (Google “Play”) for apks that have not found their way to such as F-Droid. [Download Aurora Store (free) for Android, APK | Gizmodo](https://gizmodo.com/download/aurora-store)

> **[Aurora Store | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository](https://f-droid.org/packages/com.aurora.store/)**
>
> An unofficial FOSS client to Google Play with an elegant design and privacy

That may work for some.

> Aurora Store is an open-source alternative to the Google Play Store, allowing people to browse and download Android apps. It offers a user-friendly interface and access to a wide range of applications while prioritizing user privacy.

Downloading through Aurora using an anonymous account worked fine for me on GrapheneOS: thank you for the hint.

Still would be lovely to have F-Droid access. I’m a little uneasy about Aurora!
