# Trigger for all SOTA references within a certain radius from a location

As a SOTA activator and chaser, especially on VHF, it would be extremely useful to be able to trigger an alert when someone has spotted at _any_ SOTA reference that is within [X] miles of a certain location (perhaps a gridsquare). In California, the different regions heavily overlap, and are quite large, so just setting a trigger for W6/CC is overly broad and not helpful (covers the entire state coastline).
