OK…I think I may know what is happening…the activator that HamAlert is triggering on may be at a park which is primarily in one state (and which shows in the alert), but is (for example US-0070) also listed in other states. US-0070 when referenced shows: US-ID, US-MT, US-WY
Yes, that is likely what’s happening. For POTA spots in parks that span multiple states, HamAlert has no way of knowing which state the activator is actually in.
I hate US-4239 for this very reason. I get the exact same right down to the same activator. Only I need ND. What gets me it says right there MI,US right there in the alert why can’t they use that as a field for the trigger?
