Audio alerts stoped working on my Google Pixel 8 for now than 2 weeks. Google updated the phone, no idea if this maybe the cause.
But the suggested solution to deinstall & reinstall HAMALERT did NOT solve the problem.
Under SETTINGS PUSH is activated
under SOUND the option DEFAULT is selected
but no Audio Alert occurs.
What am I missing?

have noticed that my Hamalert app on Andriod 14 (old google pixel 5) and on my main phone (google pixel 8a) now makes use of the defaults alert sound on my phone. I beleive at an earlier time there was a long blooop sound built into the hamalert app, plus the short BLIP and the MORSE alert. I dearly miss the old alert sound and thought you might be missing alerts as it is not using the old sound it was using?
P.S does anyone know what happened to the old alert sound that was in the Android hamalert App?
