HamAlert has worked wonderfully well for me for three years, yes, but this past week the audio alert has not worked; the visual HamAlert notes on the Galaxy phone work perfectly. Only the phone’s audio beep (or CW) does not function.
The phone’s other audio notifications and alerts work OK.
Is anyone else experiencing this??
Fixed, and problem solved. I un-installed HamAlert on the Galaxy phone, then re-installed it, and the audio alerts work perfectly. Thank you for the suggestions (sent via email). 73 73 to all … de Mark w2or

Thankfully, my Alerts are working on my Galaxy phone, including the simulated alerts, but not entirely. Please see below question.
The first time a simulated alert is activated, all works fine, including the accompanying audio alert on the phone. And, after making changes to the Simulation settings, the next simulated alert does arrive immediately on my phone for the first simulation test, including the audio alert on the phone, but when the simulation settings are then changed, the audio alert on the phone does not take place; rather, only the new alert printed data appears on the phone, but with no audio alert. So, my Question:
After changes to the simulation settings, is there a waiting period required before the audio alert will take effect on the phone?
Good news. Since last post a few hours ago, the audio alert is working on the phone app, along with the narrative alert.
