There are currently triggers in HamAlert for SOTA, IOTA and POTA, but there are lots of other ‘OTA’ schemes around now.

Is it possible to add a trigger to match certain text in the DX cluster observation/notes field for say *BOTA*, *Lighthouse* or any other text?

I’m not sure how feasible it would be - I think text matching with wildcards is quite resource intensive?

Unfortunately, with the current architecture of the HamAlert matching engine, such free text/wildcard matches are not possible. It relies heavily on optimizations using hash tables to efficiently match hundreds of spots per second against currently around 80’000 triggers with even more conditions.
