Ham Alert - How to exclude Japan?

I am working on an award for Asia and Japan is blowing up my notifications. I already have confirmed QSOs with them, so I’d like to exclude them. I went to the exclusions on Ham Alert and added all of the Japanese prefixes (JA. 7J, etc.), but I’m still getting notifications. What am I doing wrong? Pls help. Thx!

Prefixes are not suitable for matching DXCCs, as they must include the first digit in the middle of the callsign too in order to match (e.g. JA1, JA2, JA3 etc.).

You can either:

  • List the prefixes to exclude with each possible digit from 0-9
    or
  • Add a DXCC condition and select all the Asian countries that you are still missing.
