I noticed that I had selected only a few notifications in HamAlert conditions, so I decided to add more. However, I realized the added conditions weren’t showing up. So, I decided to delete the app and add the new conditions. From that point on, the Morse alert stopped working. I no longer receive notifications like before, but the status works perfectly on the QRZ page.
I’ve tried everything, but if you have any idea, it would be greatly appreciated.
I think there may be some confusion about how HamAlert triggers and conditions work. In a given trigger, all conditions must match a spot at the same time for a notification to be sent. You only have one trigger, with several very specific (and redundant) conditions, that in combination will only match spots for your own callsign and if a IOTA reference is also provided in the spot.
If you want to get alerts for different kinds of spots (e.g. for your own callsign, or for any spot from Puerto Rico), then you need to create several different triggers. For example, you could create a trigger with only a callsign condition for your own callsign if you want to get notifications for self-spots. Then you could create a separate trigger with a DXCC, band and mode condition if you are interested in spots from any Puerto Rico station on the given bands/modes. Of course the trigger with DXCC Puerto Rico will also match spots for your own callsign, but HamAlert is smart enough to only send one notification for the same spot, even if several triggers match it.
