Is it possible to set a trigger with CW for operators interested in Ragchewing? If so, could someone help with condition and format to us? I have seen CQ RC used and was curious of “CQ RC” and “RC” could be used somewhere.
Not directly, as information about CQ “suffixes” is not available in the spots from RBN etc., so HamAlert cannot match on that.
What you could do to increase your chances for a ragchew QSO is to grab the membership list of an organization whose members are likely to enjoy ragchewing (e.g. Member Roster – CWops) and copy the list of callsigns into a (Full) callsign condition, combined with a Mode = CW condition and perhaps a Spotter continent or state condition.
Thanks for the quick response. I did not know if I was missing a feature in the software. I already have a couple of RC triggers setup also.
